If you’re on the road for the holiday, you probably already know that gas prices are as low as they’ve been in some time.

In fact, it’s been more than two years since prices at the pump have been this low.

In Missouri, the statewide average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas stands at $1.90, a nickel cheaper than a week ago and 26 cents cheaper than this time last year.

The cheapest gas in Missouri is $1.67 in Independence. The most expensive is $3.19 in Ladue.

In Hannibal, gas prices range from $1.72 to $1.89.

In Illinois, an average gallon of gas costs $2.23 statewide, which is actually four cents more than a week ago, but 27 cents cheaper than a year ago.

The cheapest gas in Illinois is in Normal, at $1.79. The most expensive is in Chicago at $3.44.

In Quincy, gas prices range from $1.97 to $2.20.
