21 year-old Jacob Darnell of Louisiana was sentenced to seven years in prison after admitting to charges of escape, damage to jail property and theft. The sentence will be served consecutively with an earlier three-year term for a guilty plea to drug possession and domestic assault.

His brother, 24-year-old Jason Darnell, is scheduled for a jury trial on escape charges April 11th. The breakout happened on September Eighth, and involved five inmates. One of them, 26-year-old Emmanuel Chatman of Louisiana, was sentenced earlier to seven years in prison.

Meanwhile, 40-year-old William Wilkerson of Saint Louis is set for a jury trial March 7 and 50-year-old Joseph Verive of Clarksville goes on trial May 2.

Another man, 31-year-old Tordale Chatman of Louisiana, is accused of hindering prosecution for allegedly driving three of the escaped prisoners from Bowling Green to Louisiana. His arraignment is February 11.
