For the second time in three months, a Quincy man is sentenced to probation in Adams County Circuit Court.

21-year-old Akeel Hodge is sentenced to two years probation and sixty days county jail time Monday. Hodge had pleaded guilty in March to theft over $10,000. He’s alleged to have stolen nearly $15,000 worth of cell phones from a kiosk in the Quincy Mall in October, 2013.

Earlier this year, Hodge pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal sexual abuse, admitting to having sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl in Bob Bangert Park. He also got two years probation on that charge, along with 360 days in jail.
