Additional Charges Filed Following Keytesville Child Death

Missouri Highway Patrol officials say additional charges have been filed following the death of a Keytesville Missouri child.

A two year old girl died at a Columbia Missouri hospital last Saturday, five days after she was found unresponsive in a private swimming pool in Keytesvillle. Her mother,  19 year old Kynzie Patino and stepfather, 21 year old Jessie Patino were arrested on felony warrants for endangering the welfare of a child following an investigation by the Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control. Both face additional charges of involuntary manslaughter following the child’s death. Both are held in the Chariton County Jail on 75-hundred dollars bond.
