Adams County Sheriff Conducts Sex Offender Compliance Check

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office conducts a compliance check on all sex offenders in the county on Friday.

According to Sheriff Brian Vonderhaar, his office checked 43 addresses looking for any violations of the sex offender registration act.

Of those checked, 41 offenders were found to be compliant, with two being the subject of on-going non-compliant offender investigations.

Citizens can go to the site to search for sex offenders in their area and to sign up for sex offender alerts.
