(URSA)—An Adams County probation officer is facing meth related charges following a search of his residence by Adams County Sheriffs Deputies and the West Central Illinois Task Force Friday. Authorities say the search yielded numerous drugs. Probation officer John Grotts is charged with possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine and unlawful use of property in violating the Methamphetamine Control Act. Grotts was also an Adams County Drug Court Liason.  A graduate of that program—35 year old Devin Lawton was also arrested on meth related charges following the search. The investigation continues.
