A Hannibal man will stand trial next year for robbing two convenience stores last December.

21-year-old Adam Morrall is scheduled for a two-day trial April 14 in Cole County Circuit Court. A pre-trial hearing is set for February 18. The case was moved from Marion County on a change of venue.

Morrall is alleged to have held up the Casey’s on Highway MM on December 4 and the Abel’s on James Road at knifepoint on Christmas Eve.

Morrall had pled guilty and served time for taking part in the robbery of the Chelsea Adult Store in Quincy in March of 2013.

He is lodged in the Marion County Jail on $100,000 bond.
