A Visit With Rick Hummel [Audio]

St Louis Post Dispatch National Baseball Writer and Quincy native Rick Hummel was in Quincy Friday to address Quincy Exchange Club members.

I had a chance to visit with Hummel on several subjects including Stan Musial, repercussions of Chris Carpenter's latest injury, pitching. Hummel quotes Red Schoendienst as saying he's not seen this much pitching talent in the organization since the 1940s. We also touch on possible long term solution for the Cardinals at shortstop.
