A 70 year Hannibal tradition is renewed Tuesday.

The 70th annual Mark Twain Marching Band Festival begins at 3 p.m. with marching bands from 30 area high schools making their way down Broadway.

The festival continues at 6 p.m. at Porter Stadium at Hannibal High School as 17 schools’ bands appear in parade formation and perform their field shows.

Admission to the field show is $5 for adults and $2 for students.
