Adams County Sheriff’s deputies say three people face charges following a call about individuals shooting deer out of season.

Deputies were told around 7 p-m Thursday about individuals shooting deer from a vehicle near Turtle Lake Road and West Fifth. Deputies arrived in the area and arrested 18 year old Kylie Sparks of Quincy, 18 year old Blain Faught of Quincy, and 18 year old Taylor Caldwell of Petersburg. An uncased rifle and deer carcass were located in their vehicle. All three are charged with illegal possession of a deer. Faught and Sparks are charged with hunting without a deer permit and possession of a firearm without a FOID card. Sparks, Faught and Caldwell are to be in court to face those charges on October 24th.
