The Chicago Public Library officials say more than 101,000 items were returned during a three-week amnesty period. The once-missing books, DVDs and CDs were valued at about $2 million. The oldest item to be returned was a limited-edition copy of Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray," which was due 78 years ago.
