(HANNIBAL)—A Pi Day fundraiser on KHMO’s Bids For Bargains means 270 dollars for the United Way of the Mark Twain Area. Bidders paid 135 dollars for a cherry pie from Gail Bryant of the Hannibal Visitors and Convention Bureau and also 135 dollars on a homemade frozen chicken pot pie from KHMO’s own Ed Foxall. Pot sweeteners for the bidding included gasoline cards… dinner at Lulabelles.. and a Kelly gift certificate added to the intensity of the bidding. Former United Way Campaign chair and board member  Linda Clark was on hand during the bidding.

Clark was also a long time dietician for Hannibal schools..
